Good Chemistry* believes we are the generation of businesses, and consumers, starting to turn the tables on the our global climate crisis.
These are the measures we are taking on the things we design, make and do:
VEGAN AND CRUELTY FREE
All our Private Label products are vegan and cruelty free. Additionally we source organic and sustainably harvested raw materials where available. We believe beautiful skincare is only made without harming animals, our planet or ourselves.
MINIMAL, RECYCLABLE AND COMPOSTABLE PACKAGING
We minimise packaging in our Private Label range, such as no external boxes, where possible. We support a circular economy, and are actively researching and trialling new reusable and compostable cosmetic packaging that we can use ourselves and recommend to clients. We have also supported local research projects on sustainable packaging with new materials.
LOW CARBON SHIPPING
All our New Zealand orders are shipped carbon neutral in compostable/eco friendly courier bags and packaging.
SOURCING LOCAL
We source local raw materials, and make our own extracts where possible, to reduce our carbon emissions from transport.
'JUST IN TIME' PRODUCTION
To actively minimise wastage, we practice 'just in time' production where possible, so we order in materials, and create, only what's needed.
