Cosmetic formulation is the development of a formula and product samples to meet the requirements of your product brief.  This package is for custom formulation for an advanced face or body product (cosmeceutical/active).

This includes more advanced formulations for active products such as for anti-aging, whitening, AHA/BHA, tanning and those with clinically proven claims/actives, salon-quality skincare products in various forms.

Advanced Face or Body Formulation Package includes:
‍- Initial ingredient and clinical research.
- Custom Formulation Briefing Session (after initial product brief is supplied)
- Product Samples, up to 3 rounds of samples in sample size 30-50ml each round).
- Formulation and Sample Feedback Session With Cosmetic Chemist.
- Full ingredient list.
- Product formula and method of manufacture.
- IP ownership of the formula.
- Preliminary stability testing: 2 weeks high temperature and freeze/thaw (report not issued).

‍Advanced formulas include:
‍Face and body products to address specific skin concerns including advanced anti-aging or skin firming, blemishes/acne or uneven skin tone. Product with clinically proven claims or actives including salon-quality products. Highly-active products including chemical exfoliants (AHA/BHAs), whitening or tanning products, products with SPF or pigmented products.

‍Out of scope for this Advanced Package:
- Ongoing lab sessions for further samples or changes.
- Formulating therapeutic products, or with ingredients or claims that are of type or level with restricted use for cosmetic products;
- SPF testing (note, specialist testing service is needed for any SPF product, we can refer you to a testing service);
- Products with SPF above 15 - P.O.A, please ask for a quote;  
- Full Cycle Stability Testing (highly advised, separate service)
- Lab Batch of product for full stability testing and PET (usually around 1kg of product in your intended packaging).
- Claims substantiation and label compliance.
- PIFs or Dossiers (for exporting).
- Project management or consultations with raw material suppliers or manufacturers; other product or brand development.
